No Travel Fees to Dallas/Fort Worth - um why?

Are you getting married in Dallas (really, anywhere in the Dallas - Fort Worth area)?  We'll film your DFW wedding on our dime.  That's right, we're paying for the travel so we can tell your story.

There are a couple things we love.  We love our family.  We love to travel.  We love stories and we love weddings.  If you didn't know, Laura and I (Daniel) are from Texas.  Most of our family is still there and we want to visit them as much as possible.

Here they are (minus a sister who wasn't on this trip).

Church Landing Wedding \\ Erin + Peter

Erin and Peter got married at Church Landing in Meredith, NH. It was a perfect day, so perfect that they both went Water Skiing that morning. Bookend the wedding with a donut truck and you have a pretty amazing wedding. That's right there was a donut truck at this wedding. Is there a better way to end your day than to stop by and eat a cider donut. If there is, I can't think of it.

I love when a wedding has unique elements to it and this one did not disappoint.  My favorite unique moment was when they had two very unique readings.  The first reading was from The Velveteen Rabbit and the second one was from Einstein.  How incredibly unique at a wedding.

They had two very unique readings.

This is a wedding you need to check out - you won't regret it!

Enjoy the wedding highlights of Erin and Peter:

MICHELLE + MATT WENTWORTH BY THE SEA // NEW HAMPSHIRE WEDDING

Sometimes (1)

Sealed with a kiss under a saber arch.

It was July 4th, and the weather was rainy in New Castle, NH but Michelle and Matt barely glanced at the sky. Their focus was on one another completely.
The couple had known quickly they had something special after countless long talks lasting late into the nights. In the time that followed they cultivated and nourished their growing love with letters written back and forth steadfastly, everyday, while Matt was away in the service. Their affection for each other stood under the test of long-distance and grew into a steady and strong love.
Now, coming to stand on the precipice of married life, it was apparent they couldn’t wait to jump in. It was with a sweet air of genuine contentedness that Michelle and Matt were united, sealed with a kiss under a saber arch.
They both stated they were most excited about saying “I do”. And after those beautiful words were spoken at the gorgeous St. Andrews by the Sea, the party gathered at Wentworth by the Sea in Rye, NH for the epic celebration. The guests were in for a treat with a staged dance by Michelle and her dad with Matt making a hilarious cameo. There was a chocolate waterfall, sparklers, everyone was on the dance floor and of course a perfect 4th of July red white and blue exit!

MICHELLE + BRIAN MILE AWAY // MILFORD NEW HAMPSHIRE WEDDING

Latimer Studios Photography capturing a wedding at Mile Away Restaurant in Milford NH

“Michelle turned me into a dog guy.”

Brian said with a smirk after gushing about Lily, their sweet Bullmastiff.
And it’s not the only thing that has changed. The awesome news is circulating that Lily will be a big sister of baby Glow in 2015!
But we are getting ahead of ourselves. After all this post is about their wedding! On September 9th 2014 Michelle and Brian wed at a beautiful ceremony at the Mile Away in Milford NH.
As I arrived that morning me and my second shooter heard a thunder that had us ducking for cover. It was not just raining, it was a proper storm with the whole wedding tent flapping in the wind.
When the good natured Michelle arrive she had a huge smile on her face and was laughing. The storm didn’t phase her a bit.
And after the I do’s were said, the rain stopped. We step outside of the tent just in time to see a gorgeous rainbow donning the sky. And that break in rain gave us a perfect hour to take pictures in the gardens of the Mile Away Restaurant.
It was a celebration full of joy, all about two people who are truly best friends. And are going to be incredible parents.

A North Conway NH "I do" at the Red Jacket Inn

Sometimes

Sometimes the eyes tell a whole story.

Overlooking the mountains of North Conway, NH there could not have been a better backdrop for saying I do. The clouds gathered in and despite all of our internal pleas for the rain to hold off, it came. We were just leaving the Swift River bridge- built in 1870!- where Mary and Robb had their first look, and the drops began to fall along with a wave of disappointment.
The wedding was moved inside, but the big glass windows still allowed us to see the breathtaking views. However, the mountains were not what captured my attention, there was something even more beautiful happening.
Mary walked down the isle in the Red Jacket Resort and as I’m taking my pictures I notice Robb. He had the most gorgeous adoration and love in his eyes. He held Mary’s gaze as she got close, silently telling her, “It’s okay. The wedding is now indoors. But I could not be more in love and more happy.” The love that poured into her in that moment was palpable.
As I edited the pictures later sure enough his eyes told a brilliant story of compassion, support and love. Mary and Robb both give this to each other- along with a lot of laughter, and a lot of dry hilarious humor.
And as the wedding day went on, it was beyond a perfect celebration. Fall decoration, an amazing art piece of a wedding cake, speeches that brought tears and dancing for hours.
Thank you Robb and Mary for being the great people you are. I am grateful to have shared in your gorgeous day with you.
