Vesper Country Club Wedding \ Aycha + Tom \ Tyngsboro, Massachusetts

There's nothing quite like getting married in a place that feels like home.  It was so clear that the Vesper Country Club was/is a home away from home for Aycha and Tom.  I was driving around in the morning, capturing Tom playing golf and had multiple people ask me who was getting married.  As soon as I said their names they were excited and they knew exactly who I was talking about.

Enjoy their wedding highlights!

I love when couples write their own wedding vows. It’s one of those beautiful moments that raw emotion really comes to the forefront. The vows Michelle and Matt wrote to each other were geniune and beautiful. We were so fortunate to be able to capture. Mike's face when he first saw his bride walking down the aisle was a priceless expression of pure joy

That's a beautiful way to start a life together. Church Landing is a beatiful place to get married!

Enjoy their story!

The Barn at Gibbet Hill Wedding

The Barn at Gibbet Hill Wedding

Fun!

When I think of this wedding, fun is the first word that comes to mind.  Both Jen and Billy mentioned laughter in their wedding vows; it's part of their DNA.  It's not only in their DNA, but it is a part of the people they are friends with.  The bridesmaids started the day by learning how to do a line dance before heading over to the Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding.

The speeches were hilarious, unique and touching.  Fun fact, typically during the speeches I'm filming the person giving the toast and my wife, Lori, is moving around getting guest reaction shots or creative angles.  In the middle of the maid of honors speech my wife ran over to me because she was so excited.  She had to tell me right there that they were doing their own version of a speech from the movie Bridesmaids.  You know it's a good speech when that happens!

Of course, the first dance was amazing.  One of my favorite first dances of all time.

Authenticity

I'm going to enjoy any event that has a fun environment and this was fun, but what really made me enjoy this wedding was that it felt like an extension of their personalities.  From the boots, to the country music, to the Barn at Gibbet Hill Wedding, to the vows it all felt like  it matched exactly who they are as a couple.  We talk about authentic weddings a lot and this is an exact example of what we mean.

Here's their story!  Enjoy!

Alden Castle Wedding

Danielle + Jared

This wedding was just fun!  From getting up early and watching them get ready, to watching them do an incredibly unique dance to Party in the USA - you couldn't ask for a better day!  Having an Alden Castle Wedding was the perfect choice for them.

Early Boston Wedding Party

We absolutely love when we get the opportunity to spend extra time with the bride and groom.  For Danielle and Jared's wedding we drove to Boston early to film Jared enjoy some time with his friends and family at Jillian's in Boston.  If you've never been to Boston, Jillian's is right next to Fenway.  It's a great location right in the heart of Boston.  Jillian's has a food, bowling, pool and other games.  It was a great way to relax before getting into a tux!  Jared decided not play any of the games due to the risk of injury.  No one wants a bowling injury on their wedding day!

Danielle got ready at the beautiful Hotel Commonwealth.  She had an incredible suite to get ready in.  Not far from Jillian's at all.  In fact, we just walked there after filming Jared's morning.  The first look was at Alden Castle where she sprang fourth from her limo to greet him.  It's the first time we got to see them interact and his reaction to seeing her was enough to know that this is a beautiful relationship.  Then the wedding really began with a beautiful ceremony and reception (Held in the same room!  They were able to flip it during cocktail hour!).  Here's their wedding films.  Enjoy a look into their story!

Fun Fact: If you watch the trailer, we edited and played that during the reception.  Same Day Edits are some of are favorite things to do!  Enjoy this Alden Castle Wedding!

Boston Wedding Video Colonnade

Boston Wedding Video ColonnadeJessica and Patrick have known each other since elementary school, but initially didn’t really hit it off.  I love how Jessica told her mom that “Patrick was so bad that he was going to be sent to the nuns!”  So when they started dating it sounded like it was a bit of a surprise for everyone.  Granted that was as a small child and things obviously changed.

It was so evident to everyone that this was an amazing match.  All the toast had some sort of funny story about Patrick and Jessica’s history, but always ended on a note that they were both amazing people.  Patrick was very enthusiastic about the entire day.  I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anyone hug the bride (before they were allowed to kiss) more than he did.  He was excited to get married.

Patrick was so bad that he was going to be sent to the nuns!

The wedding had some unique characteristics.  This is the first time that I’ve filmed a wedding that was half catholic and half jewish (which is why you’ll see two officiants).  It was really interesting to see how they blended the two.

Here’s their story!  Enjoy!

All the vendors were fantastic at the wedding too.  The band was top knotch.  It is amazing how a great band can really get the party going during a reception.  As a bass player myself, I was very much thrilled to hear the licks that bassist was throwing down.  Of  course the Colonnade is a fantastic place to get married.  You can see pictures from this weddign at http://www.carlymichelleblog.com/home/2014/7/28/the-colonnade-hotel-boston-jess-pat.
