Mount Washington Hotel Wedding // Destination Wedding

Emily and Luke traveled all the way from Australia to get married in New Hampshire.  Emily is from New Hampshire but moved to Australia.  Luke and his family are from Australia so they all came up from Australia.  This trip was his sister's first flight ever and she got on a plane for 16 hours.  WOW!  This was a destination wedding for almost everyone there.

Their faith is incredibly important to Emily and Luke and it was evident throughout the day.  The ceremony had meaningful touches like tying the cord of three strands that was a direct correlation to the foundation they wanted their relationship to stand on.

We couldn't have been happier to capture their wedding at the gorgeous Mount Washington Hotel.  Enjoy their films!

Von Trapp Family Lodge Wedding

Yeah, I can hike that!

We always love a good challenge and we were met with a great one at this beautiful wedding in the mountains. Olivia and David have a huge heart for their families. One of their grandfathers built a chapel in the woods on the Von Trapp Family Lodge property. So of course this spot was the perfect spot to start their wedding day. It’s where they first saw each other and where they did commnunion.

Von Trapp Family Lodge!

The Von Trapp Family Lodge is beautiful. It's is a perfect backdrop to tie the knot. One of my favorite parts of this wedding is the way they wrote their vows. I won't ruin it, but it's a unique idea I hadn't seen before.

Is there a man in that mountain? - Kate and Thomas Wedding Film // Cathedral of the Pines

Kate + Thomas Trailer

WOW!

Anytime you can walk up to a wedding location and say “wow”, you’ve probably picked out a beautiful spot. This wedding did just that. As Lori and I walked up to see where the ceremony was going to be held we instantly were struck by the sheer beauty. Behind where they would soon promise their lives to each other stood a perfect view of Mount Manadnock.

Thomas proposed to Kate on top of a mountain so getting married at the Catherdral of the Pines was a perfect spot. It’s a fun story filled with twists and unexpected surprises that you should ask them about.

Kate and Thomas made this fantastic hand shake (I’m sure they have a name for it) that is uniquely theirs. Look for it right after the first kiss!

I’ll let you enjoy the rest in the video! Needless to say, it was a beautiful wedding with a couple who were clealry designed to be together.

Enjoy their story!

Part 1 of 2 // Sharada + Billy // Cambridge, Mass // Hyatt Regency Wedding // Indian and American Wedding

Indian Wedding Hyatt Cambridge

I love when we get to see the unexpected and something new. This was the first time that we have filmed one couple having two completely different weddings in one weekend. I am incredably impressed by how Sharada and Billy made the entire weekend seem so seamless and each wedding unique. It was so fun to be at this wedding! If you’re reading this and you didn’t go to this wedding, please find a time machine, become friends with Sharada and Billy, secure an invite and go! This weekend was full of so many great moments that we decided instead of one highlight film we were going to make two. This one covers the American Wedding Day.

They picked the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge for a couple reasons, but one of them was because they have such a variety of rooms that each wedding day could feel completely different and make each wedding completely unique.Hyatt Regency Cambridge

I loved so much about this wedding and there are two things that really stood out about the American Day. First, is that they took dance lessons and choreographed their first dance. Sharada has a history of teaching dancing, but Billy definitely stepped up to the challenge. They did so well.

Secondly, Billy planned the entire honeymoon and surprised Sharada. He didn’t tell a soul where he was going and if you watch you can see the moment she finds out. Spoiler: It’s amazing!  The picture below is also a spoiler.

A North Conway NH "I do" at the Red Jacket Inn

Sometimes

Sometimes the eyes tell a whole story.

Overlooking the mountains of North Conway, NH there could not have been a better backdrop for saying I do. The clouds gathered in and despite all of our internal pleas for the rain to hold off, it came. We were just leaving the Swift River bridge- built in 1870!- where Mary and Robb had their first look, and the drops began to fall along with a wave of disappointment.
The wedding was moved inside, but the big glass windows still allowed us to see the breathtaking views. However, the mountains were not what captured my attention, there was something even more beautiful happening.
Mary walked down the isle in the Red Jacket Resort and as I’m taking my pictures I notice Robb. He had the most gorgeous adoration and love in his eyes. He held Mary’s gaze as she got close, silently telling her, “It’s okay. The wedding is now indoors. But I could not be more in love and more happy.” The love that poured into her in that moment was palpable.
As I edited the pictures later sure enough his eyes told a brilliant story of compassion, support and love. Mary and Robb both give this to each other- along with a lot of laughter, and a lot of dry hilarious humor.
And as the wedding day went on, it was beyond a perfect celebration. Fall decoration, an amazing art piece of a wedding cake, speeches that brought tears and dancing for hours.
Thank you Robb and Mary for being the great people you are. I am grateful to have shared in your gorgeous day with you.
