Jessica and Patrick have known each other since elementary school, but initially didn’t really hit it off. I love how Jessica told her mom that “Patrick was so bad that he was going to be sent to the nuns!” So when they started dating it sounded like it was a bit of a surprise for everyone. Granted that was as a small child and things obviously changed.
It was so evident to everyone that this was an amazing match. All the toast had some sort of funny story about Patrick and Jessica’s history, but always ended on a note that they were both amazing people. Patrick was very enthusiastic about the entire day. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen anyone hug the bride (before they were allowed to kiss) more than he did. He was excited to get married.
Patrick was so bad that he was going to be sent to the nuns!
The wedding had some unique characteristics. This is the first time that I’ve filmed a wedding that was half catholic and half jewish (which is why you’ll see two officiants). It was really interesting to see how they blended the two.
Here’s their story! Enjoy!
All the vendors were fantastic at the wedding too. The band was top knotch. It is amazing how a great band can really get the party going during a reception. As a bass player myself, I was very much thrilled to hear the licks that bassist was throwing down. Of course the Colonnade is a fantastic place to get married.
