Barn at Silver Oaks Estates Wedding Film // Maine Barn Wedding Film

Cori Ann and Dan planned to have their ceremony outside at the Barn at Silver Oaks Estates.  If you've never been there, you should definitely check it out.  It has an amazing barn for the reception and an incredible outside for the ceremony.  Plus you're near a lake, so yeah it's perfect!

Anyway, they planned to have it outside, but the weather had other plans.  The weather called for down pouring of rain so they adjusted and moved quickly inside.  The best part of that story is not that there were great accommodations inside, but that no-one batted an eye about it being moved.  They knew that they day wasn't about the location but about the love and commitment they were making together.

Amazing couple and amazing weekend. Congrats Cori Ann and Dan.  Enjoy their film!

The Nonantum Resort Wedding Film // Outdoor wedding by the water

Beautiful weather, groom arriving on a boat, kids coming down the aisle with balloons, bride who smiled all day, personal vows, killer speeches - just to name a few things that made this weekend amazing.

Yes! A boat! - CHOO CHOO, wait no that's a train. . .how do you make a boat noise? umm. . .Boat Boat?

This was the first time we've had a groom arrive on a boat.  I hope it's not the last time!  Not only was it a really fun way to arrive to the wedding, it was also a great opportunity to bust out the drone and get some shots of the boat from the sky.

Congrats Jessie and Tim! Enjoy their film!

Camp Lenox Jewish Wedding Film // Massachusetts Wedding

A wedding and a musical

Brenne and Eli are musical nerds.  They called themselves that and after being at their wedding it's so true!  Their speech was interlaced with their own versions of popular musical numbers, the first dance had the groomsmen singing behind them and the parents toast had their own version of musical numbers as well.  Luckily (for me) they could all sing very well so it sounded amazing and was so fun to listen to.

The got married on a camp in western Massachusetts.  Such an amazing day.  Also, I got to work with Meg from Rodeo and Co again for the second time that weekend.  She's amazing to work with.

Enjoy their film:

Ali + Eric // Providence Rhode Island Wedding // Omni Providence Hotel // The Dorrance Wedding

I loved capturing this wedding.  Ali and Eric went to their high school prom and spent ten years getting to this amazing day.  They started out getting ready at the Omni Providence Hotel where Eric decided that they needed to make paper airplanes to see how far they could fly from the balcony.  That's the first time I've seen that and I like it!

Ali had this really cool thing she did with her flowers.  Every bridesmaid had a word written under their flower that represented their relationship or characteristics of that bridesmaid.  I love the creativity of that idea.  Again, another first and I like it!

The reception took place at The Dorrance.  What a cool location.  I love the fact that they turned a restaurant into an awesomely unique venue for their wedding.  There's a huge, old school safe in the back - don't worry it was unlocked.  Not only was the location cool, but the band killed it.  I love live music and the SweetBeats Band did not disappoint.  They kept the party going.

It was great getting to know Ali and Eric and being able to tell their story.  They are some of the nicest people I've ever met and we couldn't be happier that they found each other. Congratulations and enjoy their film.

No Travel Fees to Dallas/Fort Worth - um why?

Are you getting married in Dallas (really, anywhere in the Dallas - Fort Worth area)?  We'll film your DFW wedding on our dime.  That's right, we're paying for the travel so we can tell your story.

There are a couple things we love.  We love our family.  We love to travel.  We love stories and we love weddings.  If you didn't know, Laura and I (Daniel) are from Texas.  Most of our family is still there and we want to visit them as much as possible.

Here they are (minus a sister who wasn't on this trip).
